Luckily, many of my couples are far more eloquent than I am — so I’ll continue my recent trend of letting them describe their experience of my photography in their own words.

“Matthew is an exceptional wedding photographer. We looked through the portfolios of quite a few alternatives before choosing him, and we found no other photographer who could capture the emotions of the day quite like he did.

His photos of our wedding are full of life and warmth, and they’re a real pleasure to look through. He’s also indefatigable and has a great attitude. For example, we had an issue on the day with a few overly strict security guards obstructing our group shots, but Matthew handled it with complete calm and still managed to take a number of wonderful pictures.

Other photographers can be rather mercenary, more concerned about how many hours they’ll spend on the job, whereas Matthew’s focus is entirely on capturing great images. I thoroughly recommend him.”

All I’ll say is that this was a truly special day — two people coming together and blending the vibrant traditions of their Indian and Chinese heritages into one unforgettable celebration.

Celine’s bridal preparation photos were full of life and colour. I usually capture most of this part of the day in black and white, but the colours were so vivid and expressive that it would’ve been a crime not to let them shine.

And what a party it was! The dancing at the end of the night was absolutely fantastic — with some of the older guests putting the younger ones to shame on the dance floor. The Tower Hotel, right next to London Bridge, provided a spectacular backdrop for it all.
