Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography

Hollie and Jordan got married at Micklefield Hall on the 1st of September on an absolutely beautiful sunny day. Hollie had decided that she didn't want any bridal prep photos on the day so I got a chance to hang around with Jordan and his groomsmen as they had a few beers and did the classic exercise of trying to work out how to attach the button holes to their suits without stabbing pins into their fingers.

The ceremony at Micklefield Hall was held outdoors at one of the most beautiful settings I have ever photographed, it really is stunning. The pond in the middle gives the setting a beautiful reflection and the area is flanked by two beautiful giant trees. One of the most important times of the ceremony is when the Bride walks down the aisle and everyone, including the Groom, gets to see her for the first time. With this venue, that moment is amplified as the walk down the aisle is a stunning 50 meters or so. It really builds the moment up and is a fantastic part of the day.

After the ceremony, it was time for confetti and again the surroundings of Micklefield Hall provided the perfect backdrop. The same aisle that the Bride walked down was the perfect area for the guests to line up handfuls of confetti, and as you can see from the photos it didn't disappoint. After this, it was time for a well-earned drink for everyone and couples shots for Hollie and Jordan. There are so many options at Micklefield Hall for the Bride and Groom photography you could spend hours doing this alone, but not wanting to eat into the precious time of the day we spent 20 minutes on this and got some fantastic shots that Hollie and Jordan can cherish forever.

Following this, there were the speeches, food and then dancing. Congratulations to Hollie and Jordan!
