St Stephen’s Trust Hampstead Wedding

The bride walks down the aisle on her wedding day at St Stephen’s Trust Hampstead

St Stephen’s is a building that is steeped in history and makes an incredible backdrop for a wedding with its Neo-Gothic Style. It was built in 1870 and was almost demolished in the 1970s to make way for a car park! Luckily Historic England saved it from this horrific fate by giving Grade 1 listed status.

So when Matt and Chandni asked me to photograph their wedding at St Stephen’s Trust I was overjoyed, as it was a building that always caught my eye driving past it in North London.

The day itself was filled with laughter, hugs and happy tears. My favourite! Matt works in music management, so it’s no surprise that when St Stephen’s was turned around from ceremony room to party central, the band and DJ absolutely filled this huge space with some incredible energy.

After receiving the photos, Chandni had this to say

“Oh.My.God. you absolutely smashed it! The photos are all incredible, it was so amazing to see how you captured every little detail!”
