Ealing Abbey Wedding

The bride walking down the aisle

As a West London wedding photographer, I’m always delighted when I get to capture celebrations in the heart of my local area. In late August 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing Olivia and Tim’s beautiful wedding. Their ceremony took place at the stunning St Benedict's Abbey Church—often known locally as Ealing Abbey—in Ealing, London.

Morning Preparations in Ealing

My day began at 11 am, capturing the bridal preparations at a lovely property on Mount Avenue, just a stone's throw away in W5. The morning was filled with smiles and anticipation as Olivia got ready with her family and bridesmaids.

A Grand Ceremony at St Benedict's Abbey Church

By 1 pm, it was time for the ceremony at the breathtaking Ealing Abbey. The grand architecture of this West London landmark provided an incredible, dramatic backdrop for their vows. Tim waited nervously but excitedly at the front before Olivia made her beautiful entrance.

One of the most touching moments was Olivia's father giving her away at the altar, a moment full of genuine emotion. The couple exchanged vows and rings in a traditional service, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Celebrations and a Ceilidh

Following the beautiful ceremony, we headed over to The Tudor Barn in Burnham for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Despite the threat of a little wet weather earlier in the week, we were well prepared with backup plans for the group photos, ensuring the day flowed smoothly without a hitch.

The evening celebrations were fantastic, capped off with an energetic Ceilidh starting at 7:30 pm—it was brilliant seeing everyone, including Olivia and Tim, hitting the dancefloor for a lesson and a lively party!
