Orleans House Gallery Wedding Photography

A wedding guest laughing

As a West London wedding photographer, I am always thrilled to shoot at some of the beautiful local venues on my doorstep. Hayley and Tom’s wedding on Friday 10th July 2026 was a perfect example of how to plan a relaxed, intimate, and entirely unique day. They opted for a shorter half-day celebration that perfectly suited my natural, story-telling approach to photography.

Morning Preparations at The Petersham

The day started at The Petersham in Richmond, where Hayley got ready with her mum, Mandy, and her bridesmaids, Sarah and Olivia. The atmosphere was calm and full of smiles, leading up to a wonderful first look between Hayley and her dad, Gary, before they made their way to the ceremony.

An Intimate Ceremony at Orleans House Gallery

Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham is a stunning backdrop for a wedding. Tom and his best man, James, waited at the front of the beautiful room, taking in the moments before Hayley walked down the aisle at 3:00 pm.

They celebrated their marriage surrounded by an intimate group of 32 guests, with live music provided by Kara Strings setting the perfect tone. My goal is always to stay in the background, which allowed me to capture the genuine, unscripted laughter and joy throughout the ceremony.

Drinks in the Garden and a Thames Riverboat

After officially tying the knot and signing the register, Hayley and Tom exited the gallery into a joyful shower of confetti.

Before they hopped on their boat for a cruise down the Thames, we took the time for a few relaxed couple portraits in the grounds in Orleans House Gallery.

To top off their unique timeline, just before 5:00 pm, the entire wedding party made their way to Hammerton Wharf. Everyone boarded a Turks Launches riverboat for a scenic cruise down the River Thames, arriving at The Wharf in Teddington for their evening reception and first dance!
