Brentham Club Wedding
As a West London wedding photographer, I absolutely love capturing weddings in my local area. In September 2023, I had the pleasure of photographing Orsi and Peter’s beautiful wedding at The Brentham Club in Ealing. Located right in the heart of Pitshanger, it’s a fantastic, relaxed venue that perfectly suited the couple's vision for their big day.
Planning a Relaxed Wedding Day
From our very first email and Zoom call, it was clear that Orsi and Peter wanted a laid-back, natural feel to their wedding photos. Like many couples, they mentioned early on that they weren't entirely comfortable in front of the camera. My approach is always to blend into the background and document the day as it beautifully unfolds, rather than awkwardly directing it. We met up at the Brentham Club a few weeks before the wedding to walk the grounds, chat about their timeline, and brainstorm some photo ideas to ensure they felt completely at ease.
The Ceremony in Ealing
On a bright September afternoon, Peter and Orsi arrived at the club ready to tie the knot. The 20-minute ceremony was intimate, emotional, and filled with laughter. Capturing these genuine, unscripted moments is exactly why I love documentary wedding photography.
Confetti, Portraits, and a Double-Decker Bus
After the "I dos," the newlyweds walked out to a joyous confetti tunnel on the steps of the venue, followed by plenty of hugs and mingling with their guests.
After they had they hopped on a classic red London double-decker bus to head to their pub reception for a seated lunch, we took some time for a few relaxed couple portraits on the expansive green grounds around the Brentham Club and Ealing Commmon. By keeping things moving naturally, Orsi and Peter looked effortless and elegant.
