Shoreditch Wedding

Bride and Groom kiss and Shoreditch Studios

The wedding of Ariana and Rhys is a wedding I will always remember fondly when I look back. From the couple themselves, to their friends and family and the awesome locations including Old Marylebone Town Hall and Shoreditch Studios, it was an unforgettable day.

The day started at One Hundred Shoreditch where the Bridal Party were getting ready. There was a great energy from the get go with lots of Bridesmaids and kids filling the room with sound of laughter and clinking champagne glasses. Poppy from www.poppysiennaevents.co.uk was the wedding planner so I knew the day was going to run smoothly

Hands in the air!

I have lost count of the number of weddings I have photographed at Old Marylebone Town Hall, and there are many reasons it is so popular. There is its architecture and internal decor, its history of celebs getting married there (including Paul McCartney), its fantastic location and last but not least, the experience of the staff who work there. Even though they deal with a huge number of weddings each day, everything always runs like clockwork and each Bride & Groom are made to feel special, and Ariana and Rhys were no exeption.

Whilst the amount of time you get in the venue and outside the venue onm the steps after the ceremony is extremely limited due to the amount of weddings they have there, this is where an experienced wedding photographer is worth their weight in gold. There are a few secret, secluded areas at Old Marylebone Town Hall where you can get some shots of the Bride & Groom.

Shoreditch Studios

Bride and Groom are announced into the room at Shoreditch Studios for the wedding breakfast

I have been lucky enough to be a recommended supplier for Shoreditch Studios and its sister venue Kachette for a number of years now, and I always look forward to each wedding. As it’s essentially a “dry hire”, the Bride & Groom can fill the space with their personality, meaning each wedding is totally different there.

Poppy and her team did an incredible job of bringing Ariana’s and Rhys’ vision to life and there was literally a gasp of joy when they saw the room completed for the first time.

The rest of the day was filled with laughter, drinks, food and quite an impressive amount of good moves on the dance floor!
